I actually have made the breakthrough. I started sketching yesterday and have done a few now. This evening I set up a vignette and sketched it out, I am hoping to be able to get out the water colors tomorrow evening and continue. It felt really good to get those pencils back into my hands, sort of like putting on your most favorite pair of worn in clogs. I am a bit rusty, but I can see a progression from sketch one, to the sketch tonight.
I'm hoping once I start getting warmed up I will be able to participate in the "Painting a Day" club.
It's so exciting to be artsy again.
