HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Wanted to wish everyone a happy holiday season. Still plugging away on my pieces, I'm soldering now and finding it difficult to get a long enough period of time to get enough done. I would love some time management tips from any other bloggers out there that also happen to be SAHM's and WAHM's.

Also wanted to share some pictures. Princess Olivia has had a very difficult time accepting the baby, in the beginning she completely ignored us, turning her back to us when we would try to bring the baby to her. She moved on to pooping and peeing anywhere she could. Ever so slowly she has been coming around, I sometimes catch her actually looking at the baby until she realizes I am watching her then she become indignant again. Last night there was a truce. We put Ethan on the floor and stood back; Olivia carefully plodded over and stood over the baby, then she sat next to him. If she looked up at us we quickly turned away as if to say "no big deal". Lots of sniffing incurred and *gasp* dare we say an actual lick!!! YAYYYY!!! Ethan was very gentle and did a great job of petting for the first time.

We are praying that the "Olivia Standoff of '08" is over.

Excellent! They both look very gentle with each other! My granddaughter Lola is just getting to know our little dog now, too.

Good Luck with the socializing! Rosie

Awww... Ethan is so darling with his "paw" on that tongue =)

Time management? What's that? I've been saying for months that I need a secretary and housekeeper. Sounds like time management to me. Blessings... Polly

Hi Michelle,
My name is Deanna and I have a blog called Timeless Things. Gosh I can't remember if I came over here by way of Phyllis or Cindy...I think I was at Rosehaven Cottage...Yes, I just checked my task bar....:P

I love to bloghop and I have enjoyed reading your blog. Congratulations on the birth of your sweet little boy. I enjoyed reading your posts very much. You are very witty! Your pets are just precious.

I was also very happy to see your blog has my, A Blog With A Heart award. I designed it for my sister over a year ago when she got me started blogging. She lives in Alaska and she thought this would be a great way for us to keep in touch with each other and what we are doing at home. We do talk on the phone everyday but this way we get to "see" each others homes and check out each others treasures that we find at thrift shops. I have enjoyed seeing this award circulate and how sweet it is for me when I happen to land on a blog that has it displayed. It was simply made in Paints on my computer. I have no artistic talent whatesover. That's my sister Laurie's department! :P

Now having found you, I would like to add you to my favorites if that's okay with you. I recently added Cindy from Rosehaven Cottage to my list. She did a really big favor for three of my friends who in turn did a favor for me. If you do happen to visit my blog, scroll down to the post called Walk In My Shoe award. Cindy is a wonderful lady.

Let me know if I can add you to my favorites. I don't add anyone unless they are comfortable with my blog first. It's got a vintage feel. I love 40's and 50's knick knacks, linens and Christmas decorations. I also love music from that era. Hope to see you there!

Deanna :)

BTW, my comments aren't ever this long winded! Only when I first meet ya!
