My kitchen redo, probably the longest in history, is "getting there". I took a picture a couple of days ago, it was a good day; things were put away and the floor actually got mopped. I have learned most recently to take things in small increments, having the baby has forced me to do that. In focusing on one small area each day, by the end of the week I have accomplished a lot. It may take me another couple of years to completely finish it, but I WILL get it done.

On a personal, political note, I am so proud of my Country today. I have been really emotional all day. We finally came together and our voices were heard. What a historic day.

Wow Michelle, I have to admit I love the before as much as the after:>) What a pretty place. The cupboard is beautiful and the colors and shapes are so pretty. I would be happy to have such a bright and sunny spot in my kitchen:>)

WOW Michelle, You HAVE done a lot more work since the last time I was there! The kitchen looks great and so much brighter. The sun just warms the room shining through the window. You are wise to take things in "small increments"...babies will have it no other way and you said yourself that at the end of the week you do feel accomplishment. MUAH!!!!!!!!

I'm so happy I found you when I did a blog search for "junking" This transformation is crazy good. I love the crisp white trim beside the the dark wood of the beveled mirror frame.

Beautiful job and I look forward to going through your old posts.
