PORN! PORN! PORN!

FLOWER PORN that is! It's all I can think about, in between the "beatings" my tummy is getting from the wee one in there! I think he's practicing his left hook on my bladder! :)

I have been pouring over the porn that has been coming int he mail for the past few weeks, dreaming and planning what I am going to do with my garden this year, although I am not actually sure how much will get accomplished before or after the little one gets here. A girl can still dream though, right?

I decided to make some pretty little envelopes to share my seeds with my gardening friends. I used some pretty papers, vintage lace and buttons. Inside is filled with Lupine and Morning Glory seeds, which I have plenty of.

Ahhhhh! I can almost smell that wet, earthy smell that you get early in the Spring just before the crocus start to pop up in the garden and all over the lawn.

What plans do you have for your gardens this year?

I dropped by Tuesday Morning today and they had the neatest garden ornaments and plant stands. Of course it was 23 degrees outside... not very conducive to gardening. But, yes, a girl can certainly dream. PS: Do you know that you are having a boy? Or do you just refer to the baby as a him?

yes those beautiful flowers go past the term "eye candy" and can only be described as flower "porn". lol!

Oh come on Spring, I can't hardly wait! I planted some creeping vines last spring that I need to re-think because they just grew up the trellis and now they are wrapping around going nowhere. I'd hoped they'd climb the wall, but no such luck. I just want to sit out there and dig in the dirt and feel the warmth. Happy Friday :)

Hugs,
Dena

Well, that title caught my attention! LOL

I am so glad February is drawing to a close. I am paging through all the flower catalogs, too. Dreaming of what will be. The envelopes you made for your friends are gorgeous! I so envy you gals who make such pretty things out of papers and bows.

So good to hear from you and see that you've been posting. How lovely to be pregnant and preparing to regale the beauty of Sprint. The pretty vintage envelopes with seeds is such a sweet idea. And you are so cute...I don't think your tongue is that long either. :)

What a lovely way to share your seeds! I love that idea. This year I hope to plant a couple of climbing flowing plants to cover a fence we put up....and of course some more lavender and roses!

I am excited for flowers and spring too but not that earth smell, lol. Makes me think of icky earthworms.

Hi Michelle, ahh the pressing on the bladder - how well I remember that! Gorgeous photos! So many seed catalogs and gardening magazines (there's some flower porn for sure) to look at and dream about.

I always have lots of plans - one of them includes painting my concrete patio in a checkerboard pattern so I will be re-visiting the posts you did about that last year.

If I had a garden of my own (which I don't just yet) I would just plant bulbs everywhere. I'm obsessed with them. Plus they'd come up year after year :)

beautiful photography/flowers -- could have done without the "PORN, PORN, PORN" title and the "Centerfold" song...the grossness of one kind of just doesn't mix the beauty of the other...not very lady-like, either...just weird.

There is something about a person who criticizes then hides behind an anonymous post... if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all... gutless
