Practice, practice, practice

I have been saying I would post some artwork, I guess it's time I ante up, right? I've been practicing my soldering skills. Ever since I was introduced to Sally Jean Alexander's work I fell in love with soldering but I never thought I would be able to do it. I finally got my Weller soldering iron and started going to work. The round pieces are the hardest I've found, so I've done a few of those:

These are some 4x4's I did awhile ago, I was able to practice on a couple. The straight edges are much easier.

Downward Dog; one of my first pieces, I would like to do a series of "downward dogs", I have a little more ideas floating around.

I've got more ideas I just need to get some more time to put in my studio to put the iron to the solder. ;) Thanks for stopping by and looking.

Truely cool Michelle! I used to be afraid of the soldering iron too! LOL, I've done a few of these with vintage family photos as Christmas ornaments, they are so much fun, I love your ideas!
